✨ Necklift - 7 Months Post-Op
This patient in her early 40s came in feeling that her neck made her look bigger than she actually is, especially in photos. Even at her best weight, she never felt she had a naturally defined jawline and noticed fullness along the sides of her face when smiling.
Dr. Wang performed a necklift to address these concerns at their source. This transformation would not have been achievable with liposuction alone. In her case, deeper neck structures needed to be carefully addressed and sculpted to create a more refined, balanced contour and a smoother transition from the jawline to the neck.

Understanding the difference between a traditional skin-only facelift and a deep plane facelift is one of the most common questions patients ask during consultation. Dr. Wang breaks it down in the operating room.
During a skin-only facelift, the skin is lifted and pulled without addressing the deeper structural layer. This creates tension on the surface, which is what can lead to an overly stretched or windswept appearance.
A deep plane facelift works very differently. We lift and reposition the deeper facial layer beneath the skin, allowing the true support system of the face to move as a unit. Once that deeper layer is mobilized, the skin follows naturally without tension.
🔑 Another key benefit of the deep plane technique is the ability to release facial attachments that normally restrict movement. By freeing these deeper points of fixation, the face can be repositioned more effectively.

✨ Two-Week Update: Mommy Makeover ✨
Two weeks after her Mommy Makeover with Dr. Arsalan (@arsalanplastics), this patient is already showing beautiful early progress. Her breasts are beginning to settle after correction of her previous implant asymmetry and animation deformity, and the improved positioning is becoming more visible day by day. 💗
At this early stage of healing, swelling, fullness, firmness, and changes in contour are completely expected throughout the treated areas. Early healing can look temporarily swollen or more pronounced in certain places, and everything will continue to refine as the tissues soften and settle over the next several months.
Her abdomen is also progressing well following her tummy tuck with diastasis recti repair, and her contour will become smoother and more defined as swelling decreases. 💫
